Did you know that you can use Medicare for up to five chiropractic visits per calendar year?Chronic Disease Management is a government initiative that allows people with chronic injuries or ailments to access professional services, including chiropractic care, to assist with management of their condition. As an Allied Health Professional, Dr John Infante (Chiropractor) is able to offer care under Chronic Disease Management.

Am I Eligible?

At Wholistic Health Centre, eligible patients are able to get a Medicare rebate of up to $52.95 per visit.To be eligible to receive the rebate through Medicare:

You need a referral to a Chiropractor from your General Practitioner (under item number: 10964). Dr John is able to write a letter to your GP to assist with this.
You must have a chronic medical condition that has been present for 6 months or longer that is not being managed well in its current state.

Chronic Conditions include

Musculoskeletal Conditions: such as chronic injuries involving the lower back, neck, shoulders, knees, etc.
Diabetes (Type 1 and 2)
Asthma
Cancer
Cardiovascular Disease
Depression and Anxiety
Obesity
Stroke
Arthritis
High Blood Pressure
